How Exactly Would Antifa ‘Attack And Dethrone God’?

If you are waking up and seeing the words ‘Attack And Dethrone God’ trending on social media, you may wonder what happened while you were asleep. Allow us to bring you up to speed.

A few hours ago, Fox’s Laura Ingraham had a graph showing that Antifa, the anti-fascists organization, was using similar tactics as the Weather Underground organization.

At least this was the theory explained by former FBI agent and author Terry Turchie.

Not wanting to repeat his words, allow us to give you our interpretation.

As per Wikipedia, the Weather Underground was a radical left militant organization active in the late 1960s and 1970s, founded on the Ann Arbor campus of the University of Michigan. The organization’s express political goal was to create a revolutionary party to overthrow what it viewed as American imperialism.

Basically, the Weather Underground wanted to:

– Destroy capitalism

– The Weapon of choice – systemic racism and police racism

– Identify the victim classes,

– Organize the victim classes,

– Engage in international solidarity with the global movement,

– Attack and dethrone God

What is Antifa?

Antifa, of the anti-fascist movement, is a far-left organization of people who oppose anything they understand as being fascist, racist or far-right. According to Antifa, the rise of the far-right must be met vigilantly, and if no one would do so then the world risks that extreme right-wing groups would take over. Antifa claims that public demonstration which allow right-wing ideas to be communicated could lead to the targeting of minorities or members of the LGBTQ community.

Problem for the group is that they cannot count on the support of either political party in the US, as even the Democratic firebrand Nancy Pelosi has called for their arrest in the past.

How would Antifa ‘Attack and dethrone God’?

Now, how exactly Antifa would want to ‘Attack and dethrone God’ was not explained, but we’re going to guess it has to do with the fact that there were less atheists around in the 1960s and 1970s then there are now. In other words, it refers to the Weather Underground’s plan to take out ‘Religion’ which is linked with the political movement of ‘Conservatism’ or in the US, the religious base of the Republican party.

As by now everyone assumes there are millions of Atheists in the US, that goal has already been attained we could say, so no idea what Antifa would need to be doing there.

Or it could of course refer to the famous Karl Marx (the founder of Communism) quote which said: ‘My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism’.

Yes, 2020 is proving to be a very interesting year indeed.
